We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our Community Mental Health Teams. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality occupational therapy interventions to individuals with mental health conditions.
Job DescriptionThis is a 37-hour per week position, Monday to Friday, where you will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide evidence-based occupational therapy services. You will assess clients' needs, develop and implement personalized treatment plans, and promote independence and recovery.
Key Responsibilities:- To provide occupational therapy interventions to enable and support individuals to achieve their best possible personal outcomes within their homes and communities.
- To collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to identify goals and develop effective treatment plans.
- To use occupation as the foundation of your work, incorporating specialist assessment, current evidence-based treatments, and techniques to support decision-making, goal achievement, empowerment through independence, supported self-management, and recovery where possible.
- To contribute to the development and implementation of innovative practices and service improvements.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.

The estimated salary for this position is £32,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
