Job Title: Physical Security Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Security Project Manager to join our team in Wokingham. As a key member of our Programme, you will be responsible for managing the transition of physical security work streams to achieve their deliverables, goals, and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects from requirements definition through closure, determining scope, schedule, and project implementation plan, including risk mitigation activities.
  • Drive deliverables to closure while maintaining trust and respect from project stakeholders.
  • Manage 3rd-party vendors to complete project deliverables, as necessary.
  • Compile and present data-driven reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Participate in formal project stage gate reviews and financial tracking activities.
  • Drive and manage the Procurement process from RFP to Contract award.
Requirements:
  • Multiple projects of experience in Physical Security, including experience in IT Infrastructure and business system analysis.
  • Prior Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) or utilities industry experience an advantage but not essential.
  • IT-based higher education an advantage but not essential.
  • IT and/or security certifications an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong project management experience.
  • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organisational skills.
  • Strong presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing projects in both Waterfall and Agile environments.
  • Ability to excel in a high-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and execute independently with limited supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with virtual teams to solve business challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A working knowledge of physical security, both technology and operational.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced divestment.
  • SC held.

This role may be subject to National Security Vetting (NSV) in addition to our standard background checks being undertaken. National Security Vetting requires that you meet the Minimum Residency Criteria (MRC). Pontoon is an employment consultancy and operates as an equal opportunities employer.
