Job Title: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with learning difficulties, including ADHD, SEMH, and ASC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students in the classroom, working alongside the class teacher and other support staff.
  • Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN, helping them to engage in their learning and develop their social, emotional, and personal wellbeing.
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation, ensuring that students receive a tailored and inclusive education.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement strategies to support students with SEN.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a school setting, preferably with students with SEN.
  • Good understanding of Special Educational Needs and a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
  • Ability to engage students in their learning and support them in their social, emotional, and personal wellbeing.
  • Right to work in the UK and an up-to-date DBS registration.
