London, Greater London, United Kingdom Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust Full time

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is a reputable healthcare provider that delivers responsive and dependable primary care, mental health, intellectual disability, and substance misuse services to diverse communities. To further enhance patient-focused quality care, we are seeking two highly motivated Clinical Team Leaders to join our expanding Health & Justice team in the Kensington, Chelsea & Westminster ReFocus Team.

The ideal candidate will possess significant post-qualifying experience at Band 6 level and a proven track record of providing high-quality care while exceeding expectations. They must have a sound understanding of Community Mental Health Services and be able to demonstrate effective caseload management and throughput. The ability to work collaboratively with patients, GPs, community mental health hubs, and other professionals is essential.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on promoting health and well-being in secure environments. Our motto 'Caring NOT Judging' emphasizes our commitment to providing empathetic care to those who may have offended or are at risk of offending. By working in partnership with the criminal justice system and other agencies, we strive to improve health status and encourage social inclusion.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Supervise staff and their case loads
  • Develop and maintain close professional relationships with GPs, community mental health hubs, specialist community forensic services, and other professionals
  • Organise and investigate safeguarding alerts in line with local safeguarding policies
  • Assist the team in being compliant with KPIs and monitoring electronic data

To succeed in this role, you should hold a relevant qualification (Registered Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker) and have significant years of post-qualifying experience at Band 6 level. Management training and relevant post-basic training would be desirable. You should also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package. As an equal opportunities employer, we welcome applications from candidates who share our commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
