Job Title: School Attendance Officer

Aspire People Limited is currently recruiting for a School Attendance Officer to work in a Primary School. The role is part-time and will involve monitoring whole school attendance, persistent absence, and punctuality. The successful candidate will have previous experience as an Attendance Officer in schools or have experience working within school administration.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring whole school attendance, persistent absence, and punctuality
Ongoing monitoring of attendance for students
Identifying students who require support with their attendance
Liaising with Senior Leadership Team, Heads of House, and Tutors regarding students who are of concern
Raising attendance issues with parents
Meeting with students and parents to support them in improving attendance
Meeting with Education Welfare Officer on a weekly basis
Referencing students who are not meeting attendance targets
