Job Summary:

As a Security Officer with Care New England Health System, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our staff, patients, and visitors. This includes maintaining the physical security of all hospital buildings and equipment. You will interact with visitors, patients, and staff in a professional and courteous manner, observing and enforcing all hospital policies, rules, and regulations.

You will be responsible for managing any unusual circumstances or difficulties, maintaining visitor control inside and outside the hospital, and assisting with codes and stats. You will also be responsible for restraining patients when needed and watching for future disturbances. Additionally, you will conduct routine door checks, maintain logs and reports, and monitor cameras and alarms as needed.

You will also be responsible for making emergency deliveries or pick-ups of medication, organs, and blood, and providing vehicle transportation for patients, visitors, and employees as required. You will perform all other duties as assigned.

Specifications:
A high school diploma and a minimum of six months job-related experience or equivalent are preferred. A valid driver's license is required.
