Job Summary

The Exeter Golf and Country Club is seeking a highly skilled and attentive Pool Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our aquatic team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our members and guests while they enjoy our swimming facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the pool area to maintain the highest levels of safety and attentiveness, adhering to RLSS standards and club rules.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  • Respond to member feedback and concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Ensure the pool area is clean and well-maintained, including the plant rooms and surrounding areas.
  • Conduct regular pool tests and address any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with the operational team to ensure works are carried out with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Report routine maintenance of the club's equipment to the Head of Swimming.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Head of Swimming.
  • Adhere to all procedures and protocols in place to ensure the safety and well-being of members and guests.

Requirements

  • Valid RLSS NPLQ qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of departmental standards and procedures.
