Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Process Specialist to join our team at Brakes. As a key member of our Business Process Team, you will play a crucial role in delivering and supporting improvements of business processes, systems, and ways of working.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the business to identify business improvement opportunities and deliver effective process improvement projects
  • Evaluate existing business processes to meet business objectives
  • Create documentation to outline processes
  • Promote knowledge sharing and advise on effective use of technological solutions
  • Maintain, use, and share up-to-date knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
  • Work within a team to deliver departmental strategy and targets
  • Keep business process library up to date
  • Monitor and conduct ongoing analysis to ensure processes are continually meeting business objectives
Requirements
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Experienced at meeting demanding timelines, in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Proven ability to network and build relationships
  • Good influencing skills and stakeholder management
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Power Automate, and Word
Desirable Qualifications
  • Lean Six Sigma (or equivalent) qualification and expertise (minimum Yellow Belt)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data analysis
  • Experience of creating process documentation using BPMN 2.0 and version control standards
  • Experience in facilitation, training, presenting to business professionals to a senior level
