Key Responsibilities:
- Create a dynamic and engaging atmosphere that encourages children to learn and thrive.
- Collaborate effectively with other after-school club staff to provide a cohesive and supportive environment.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and the community, promoting a sense of belonging and connection.
- Establish trusting relationships with pupils, providing individualized support and guidance to meet their unique needs.
- Employ positive behaviour management strategies to promote a safe and respectful environment.
- Offer support for homework and reading activities, helping children to develop essential skills and confidence.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience working with children, with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and colleagues.
- A passion for creating a stimulating and nurturing learning environment that promotes child development and well-being.
- Experience supporting children with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs, with a commitment to providing individualized support and guidance.
- Enhanced DBS clearance, with assistance provided if required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
