We are looking for a highly skilled Grid Maintenance Engineer to join our team at E.
As a Grid Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on electrical power systems.
This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field while earning qualifications over a four-year period.
You will spend most of your time out in the field, learning about all technical aspects of grid maintenance, and attend block release training programs to gain your formal qualifications.
The estimated salary for this position is £22,000 - £27,000 per year, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient operations
- Install and maintain electrical power systems
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs grades A-C / 9-4 (or equivalent) including Maths, English Language and Science
- A real interest in engineering shown by relevant work placements, studies, hobbies or projects
