Electrical Services Manager Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Services Manager to oversee our electrical services workshop, ensuring targets and KPIs are met with a strong commitment to rotating equipment repairs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  1. Leading the Shopfloor and Electrical Engineers
  2. Providing Technical Expertise to clients and the workshop on electric motor repairs, turbines, generators, gearboxes with a motor on, or a pump with a motor
  3. Managing Repair Costs and ensuring timely job progression
  4. Maintaining Health and Safety standards at all times
  5. Overseeing Engineers' Work on Site
  6. Providing Excellent Customer Service
  7. Maintaining Workshop Equipment
  8. Managing Workshop Staff and Recruitment
  9. Ensuring Timely Job Progression
  10. Liaising with Customers and Suppliers
  11. Overseeing Site Work and Safety Documentation
  12. Managing KPIs, Call-out Rota, and Housekeeping
  13. Identifying New Services and Partnerships

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A Background in Repairs and Services of electrical rotating equipment, including motors, gearboxes with motors on, pumps with motors on, generators, and turbines
  2. Management or Supervisory Experience in this industry, or a senior background
  3. An Engineering Qualification from degree level in a relevant engineering discipline, or a time-served apprenticeship
  4. Experience within the Motor/Rotating Equipment Repair Field and evidence of training by original equipment manufacturers
  5. Strong IT Skills
