**Job Title:** Senior Litigation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Law Expert to join our team at Abbatt Property Recruitment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in residential litigation, specifically in long leasehold matters.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in the areas of work covered above (Strictly Long Leasehold). A working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules, a familiarity with leases and enforcement of judgements is essential.

The salary for this role is estimated to be £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, with flexible working arrangements available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Debt Recovery - small claims/fast-track/Multi-track
  • Breach of Lease - County Court Action/FTT Action
  • Forfeiture and Possession Proceedings
  • Lease Extensions & Variations
  • FTT Applications
  • Lease Analysis
  • Enforcement of Judgements
  • Providing advice to clients re major works consultations/ s20b notices/ lease variations/ lease structure/ notice of repairs

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in the areas of work covered above
  • A working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules, a familiarity with leases and enforcement of judgements
  • Proactive, self-motivated, organised and reliable
  • Excellent but concise communication skills, both orally and in writing
  • Strong organisation and administration skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
  • Possess attention to detail
  • A friendly and personable approach with colleagues and clients and an ability to deal with matters sensitively and explain complex issues to clients.
