Company Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Controller to join our team at Atlas Copco UK Holdings Ltd. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accounts receivable asset while ensuring customer goodwill.

Job Description
  • Develop and Maintain Procedures: You will be responsible for developing and maintaining procedures for the collection of cash, as per credit policy, to achieve the requisite debtor level.
  • Sales Ledger Management: You will maintain the sales ledger and resolve reporting issues.
  • New Account Applications: You will process new account applications and establish appropriate credit limits.
  • Credit Limit Review: You will constantly review and maintain credit limits on existing accounts.
  • Credit Account Management: You will manage credit accounts, including suspension of supply and commencement of litigation where necessary, to minimize bad debts.
  • Invoice Disputes: You will manage any invoice disputes, working with customers and internal staff to remove bottlenecks and achieve customer satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven Experience: You will have proven experience in a credit control environment, particularly in international credit control and contracting environments.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills: You will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with both customers and colleagues.
  • Logistical and Computer Skills: You will have excellent logistical and computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office 365 and SAP knowledge desirable.
