Maintenance and Operations Specialist

Are you a skilled and versatile individual looking for a challenging role in maintenance and operations? We are recruiting for a Maintenance and Operations Specialist to join our team at one of our client sites in Lincoln. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience working as a Handy Man or equivalent, and is eager to take on new challenges.
This is a 13-week temporary to permanent contract, offering the chance to work Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. The salary range is £13-£14.75 per hour, depending on experience.
In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking a variety of tasks, including:
- General maintenance and repairs in the building and office
- Gardening and ground maintenance
- Sourcing products and materials
- Controlling contractors and ensuring quality and hygiene standards
- Maintaining firefighting equipment and liaising with the fire brigade when necessary
You will also be responsible for controlling waste disposal requirements, maintaining cleaning equipment and material stock levels, monitoring company vehicles, and organizing PAT testing of office equipment. Additionally, you will manage site access areas, control keys issued, and maintain records of workwear and contractor information.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, flexible, and able to work independently. Basic carpentry, electrical, and plumbing skills would be an advantage.
