Job Overview
A leading role as a Senior Psychiatrist specializing in Old Age Care is available within the Kent & Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide psychiatric care to patients referred to Ashford CMHSOP. You will also contribute to senior medical leadership and conduct MCA and MHA assessments.

About the Role
This permanent position comes with an estimated annual salary of £105,504. The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge in Old Age Psychiatry and be able to manage clinical complexity and uncertainty. Additionally, you will need to make decisions based on evidence and experience, including the contribution of others.

Responsibilities
As a Senior Psychiatrist, your duties will include providing psychiatric care to patients, conducting MCA and MHA assessments, and contributing to team meetings. You will also give medical guidance to team members and supervise complex cases. Furthermore, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must hold a MB BS or equivalent medical qualification. It is also desirable to have a qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management. You should have approved clinician status and be able to achieve this within 3 months of appointment. Additionally, you should have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and be able to use valid UK driving license.
