Consultant Psychiatrist in Community Settings

We are seeking an experienced Consultant CAMHS Psychiatrist to join our team in Ashford, Kent. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert clinical leadership, contribute to the development of new initiatives, and promote evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the provision of senior medical support and guidance to the team, ensuring high-quality care is delivered to children and young people with mental health needs.
- Collaborate with other health and social professionals, agencies, and stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Develop and implement effective management interventions for mental health disorders in children, including neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Stay up-to-date with current developments in mental health care, promoting innovative and evidence-based practice.
- Fully qualified GMC registered psychiatrist with CCT or equivalent, Section 12 Approval, and Approved Clinician status.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality care to children and young people with mental health needs, demonstrating strong clinical leadership skills.
- Ability to communicate complex information effectively, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences.
- A highly competitive salary range of £105,504 - £139,882 per annum (pro-rata), reflecting your exceptional skills and experience.
