Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Mental Health Transport Assistant. As a key member of our transport team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and respectful transportation of patients within our mental health services.

This is not just a driving job, but an opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives by providing exceptional care and support during their journeys. You will need to be a passionate and empathetic individual who can remain calm under pressure and deliver genuine care to our patients.

You will receive full training, including patient care, patient transport, de-escalation techniques, physical intervention, handcuff training, and first aid. Additionally, you will have access to continuous professional development opportunities, diplomas, and progression paths within the company to build a career in the mental health field.

In return for your hard work and dedication, you will receive a competitive salary of £12.37 per hour (blended rate), with additional payments for working at mental health 'places of safety' and bed watch activities. You will also enjoy a range of benefits, including a company pension, cycle to work scheme, refer a friend scheme, and enhanced DBS certificate within three years.
