Mental Health Transport Specialist

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team at Secure Care UK as a Mental Health Transport Specialist. This role plays a vital part in delivering exceptional quality care to patients, making a positive impact during their most vulnerable time.
Key Responsibilities:- Prioritize patient safety and well-being during transportation
- Maintain a clean and safe vehicle environment
- Develop strong relationships with patients and colleagues
- Stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing situations
- Valid Full UK Manual Driving License with 12 months driving experience
- Enhanced DBS certificate
- Ability to remain empathetic and patient-focused
- Full training in Patient Care, De-Escalation Techniques, Physical Intervention, Handcuff Training, and First Aid
- Ongoing support and mentoring to grow skills and experience in the Mental Health field
- Continual Professional Development (CPD) opportunities and accredited qualifications (NVQ Diplomas)

This contract is paid at a blended rate of £12.37 per hour (Day, Night, and Weekend Shifts), with an additional £20 per hour for work at a Mental Health 'place of safety' and for bed watch activities.
