About the Role
Hunter Mason Consulting Ltd is seeking an experienced Architectural Estimator to join our team. As an Architectural Estimator, you will play a crucial role in managing accurate records of tender and contract documents, preparing detailed bills of quantities and work schedules for accurate pricing, and presenting tenders at settlement meetings with a comprehensive knowledge of the best approach to be taken.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accurate records of tender and contract documents
- Prepare detailed bills of quantities and work schedules for accurate pricing
- Compile tender comparisons and consideration
- Present tenders at settlement meetings with a comprehensive knowledge of the best approach to be taken
- Offer advice on risk and value engineering options
- Work closely with supply chains to ensure competitive tenders
- Contribute to database tenders for historical data and average rates and supply chain databases
- Develop relationships with consultants and clients
- Maximise efficiency of services, utilising all resources in conjunction with the Project Managers, and identify problems, taking the relevant action to resolve them
Requirements
- Proven Estimating Experience ideally within the Signage, Displays, Façade or Cladding Sectors
- Exceptional written and spoken English skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Products
- Self-motivated personality
- Attention to detail with a right first-time attitude
- Organisation and time management skills
- Full Driving License
