Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct preliminary checks on legal documents (tenders/contracts/agreements).
  • Identify project characteristics, benefits, and areas of risk at an early stage.
  • Achieve optimum conversion rates and strive to achieve desired financial margins.
  • Negotiate prices with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project costings.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
  • Establish NORMs for implementation to estimates to target accuracy and increase speed of estimate turnaround.
  • Establish quality standards to align with customer expectations.
  • Be IT literate (MS Office).
  • Offer an honest and flexible approach.
  • Develop and implement cost estimating tools, templates, databases, etc. to promote accuracy, efficiency, and turnaround time.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office.
