Job Title: Administrative Officer

HM Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS) is seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team. As an Administrative Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our courts and tribunals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and process court and tribunal documents, including papers and digital files.
  • Provide administrative support to court and tribunal staff, including photocopying, filing, and data entry.
  • Assist with the preparation of meeting rooms, training courses, and other group activities.
  • Draft standard letters and correspondence, minutes, notes, reports, and submissions.
  • Support the listing and rota management of court and tribunal staff.
  • Handle counter, written, and telephone enquiries from court and tribunal users.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure the effective operation of the court and tribunal system.
Requirements:
  • Strong customer focus and service skills.
  • Experience of working in an administrative role in a customer-focused environment.
  • Proficient with IT and Microsoft software packages.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Customer service and administrative skills.
