Job Title: Outreach Tutor

Ackerman Pierce is seeking an experienced Outreach Tutor to provide one-to-one tutoring for children waiting for school placements in Portsmouth.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Outreach Tutor to work with children who have a range of additional complex needs. The successful candidate will have experience working with children with SEMH/ASC/MLD/SpLD and will be able to deliver differentiated National Curriculum core subjects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver one-to-one tutoring to children with complex needs
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Work closely with the child's family and other professionals to ensure the child's needs are met
  • Monitor and evaluate the child's progress
Requirements:
  • QTS status or equivalent
  • Experience working with children with SEMH/ASC/MLD/SpLD
  • Ability to deliver differentiated National Curriculum core subjects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
