Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate individual to support students with profound and multiple learning difficulties in a primary school setting in Lancaster. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support that enables students to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing individualized support to students with complex needs
  • Assisting teachers in planning and delivering lessons
  • Developing and implementing strategies to promote student engagement and participation
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A passion for working with students with complex needs
  • Experience working in an educational setting, preferably with students with special needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
