About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to provide 1:1 support to pupils with Autism, tailoring their approach to meet each child's unique needs.
  • As a member of our team, you will assist in the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports social, emotional, and academic development.
  • You will work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for each pupil, monitoring and reporting on progress, adapting support strategies as needed.
  • In this rewarding role, you will also assist with classroom activities and promote positive interaction between pupils and their peers.

About You:

  • We are looking for someone with experience working with children with Autism or other special educational needs, who possesses a patient, empathetic, and supportive approach to working with children.
  • A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, you will be able to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or special educational needs are advantageous, but not essential. What matters most is your commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
