Nottingham, Nottingham, United Kingdom Worn Again Full time

Company Overview

At Worn Again Technologies, we are revolutionizing the textile industry by developing innovative solutions to tackle the problem of waste and pollution. Our mission is to create a circular world where resources are kept in constant circulation, and our vision is being brought to life by an expert team and committed strategic partners.

The Challenge

Every year, millions of textiles and plastics end up in landfills and incineration plants around the world. Current textile recycling methods are inefficient, turning less than 1% of non-reusable materials back into new textiles. The demand for new resources continues to grow, and plastics use is increasing at an alarming rate.

The Solution

Worn Again Technologies is focused on solving the complex issue of separating polyester and cellulosic fibers in blends, at the end of their useful life, and putting them back into circular raw materials. Our advanced recycling technology can separate, decontaminate, and extract polyester and cotton from non-reusable textiles and polyester packaging to produce dual PET and cellulose outputs.
