Sales Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Sales Development Manager to join our team at Austin Fraser. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the sales process, generating new leads, and managing existing customer relationships.
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
About the RoleThe Sales Development Manager will be responsible for:
- Lead Generation & Management: Maintaining and continuously improving our current system for generating and managing sales leads.
- Project Tracking: Following up and providing comprehensive updates on all tender and live projects, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Sales Growth: Securing new customers and generating orders by leveraging your understanding of the market and client needs.
- Market Research: Collecting market intelligence, including competitor activity and customer behaviour, and updating internal databases.
- Brand Development: Actively contributing to raising the profile and reputation of the company in the market.
- Tech Savvy: Strong IT skills to manage systems, databases, and communications efficiently.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of sales principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
