Job Title: IT Support Engineer

At Louise Hewett Recruitment, we are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our client's dynamic and collaborative team. As a key member of the IT department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of systems across the business.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing IT hardware, overseeing Microsoft Office accounts, liaising with external IT support partners, and assisting with various IT-related tasks. If you have a solid background in 1st and 2nd-line IT support, with a focus on managing escalations and resolving technical issues, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain IT hardware, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Oversee Microsoft Office accounts, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Liaise with external IT support partners to ensure effective delivery of IT support services.
  • Assist with various IT-related tasks, including system security, firewall configuration, and network management.
  • Develop and maintain strong communication skills, engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
Requirements:
  • Solid experience in 1st and 2nd-line IT support, with a focus on managing escalations and resolving technical issues.
  • Ability to liaise with external IT partners to ensure effective delivery of IT support services.
  • Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Office 365, and mobile operating systems (iOS and Android).
  • Experience establishing secure firewalls and working on system security across multiple sites.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
