About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Behaviour Support Mentor to join our team at Empowering Learning. As a Behaviour Support Mentor, you will provide individualized support to students with special needs in an Alternative Provision setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in collaboration with lead teachers.
  • Support students with daily tasks, including personal care and hygiene.
  • Work closely with the lead teacher to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the academic and social development of students.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with children, particularly those with special needs.
  • Excellent knowledge of special education practices and strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle challenging behaviors.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
