About the RoleThis is a permanent, full-time position that requires a holistic business mindset to add value across our corporate structure. As an HR Advisor Generalist, you will be responsible for managing complex employee relations casework, advising managers on employment law, and developing HR policies and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage employee relations casework, including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement, and redundancy.
- Advise managers on employment law and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes.
- Administer payroll and payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Work with stakeholders to develop and implement reward strategies.
- Provide advice on recruitment and selection strategies and support the recruitment process.
- Carry out new starter inductions and manage talent and succession planning.
- Drive alignment between HR strategy and business goals and continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes.
- Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation.
- Minimum 5 years of proven HR generalist experience.
- Exceptional organisational, time management, and communication skills, together with proven leadership capabilities and solid knowledge of employment legislation and its application.
- Proactive team player with strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Experienced in developing and supporting line managers through change.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy.
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent.
