Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lean Manufacturing Apprenticeship Trainer to join our team at LT Selection. As a Lean Manufacturing Apprenticeship Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training, coaching, and assessment to apprentices in the Lean Manufacturing field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality training, coaching, and assessment to apprentices in the Lean Manufacturing field.
  • Develop and implement training programs to meet the needs of apprentices and employers.
  • Assess and evaluate the progress of apprentices towards meeting the apprenticeship program.
  • Provide coaching and support to apprentices to help them achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with employers and other stakeholders to ensure that the training programs meet their needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in Lean Manufacturing.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the introduction, implementation, and delivery of Lean programs.
  • Practical work-based experience of using Lean methodologies and able to give examples.
  • The ability to engage and deliver at all levels.
  • Maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and reporting skills.
  • Work on your own initiative, delivery plan alterations, and adaptions.
  • Initiative and creativity opportunities to help write new courses.
  • IT skills, E-portfolio skills, Smart Assessor ideal.
  • Record-keeping experience within a training environment.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
  • Management qualifications.
  • Project Management Qualifications.
  • Maths and English Level 2 and above.
  • Teaching/Assessing qualification.
  • Functional skills to level 2 in math and English.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift.
  • Monday to Friday.
  • Weekend availability.

Work Location: Remote
