Computer Science Teacher Opportunity

We are working with a Secondary School in Cambridge to find a dedicated and skilled Computer Science Teacher. This permanent role will commence in January 2025.

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Computer Science at Secondary level and hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification. The teacher should be able to plan engaging lessons, encourage critical thinking, and manage the classroom effectively.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive Computer Science lessons to students across various year groups.
  • Maintain a well-organized classroom environment and ensure safe equipment usage.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

As a member of the school's teaching team, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues and adhere to the school's policies.

Requirements:
  • Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Prior experience as a Secondary level Computer Science Teacher.
  • Strong classroom management and behavior skills.
