Learning and Development Opportunity

We are seeking qualified Teachers or Tutors to work with looked after children (LAC) across North East Lincolnshire.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Subject Expertise: Deliver personalized tutoring in core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science, as well as other subjects as required.
  2. Team Collaboration: Work closely with social workers, carers, and educational professionals to monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies.
  3. Student Support: Prepare students for exams and help them develop study skills and strategies.
Necessary Qualifications and Experience:
  1. Teaching Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS), PTTLS, or relevant tutoring experience with at least an MA or PHD in a similar role.
  2. LAC Experience: Experience working with LAC or vulnerable young people is highly desirable.
  3. Personal Characteristics: Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to helping young people succeed.
  4. Criminal Record Check: Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
