Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at the Ministry of Defence. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing specialist physiotherapy services to patients with diverse presentations and complex acute/chronic physical conditions and sports injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform highly skilled physiotherapeutic assessments of patients referred by Consultants, General Practitioners, and other Healthcare Professionals.
  2. Formulate, develop, and deliver individualized treatment programs based on evidence-based practice, manual assessment, and clinical reasoning.
  3. Advise the Senior Medical Officer on specialist physiotherapy recommendations.
  4. Contribute to the development and implementation of physiotherapy services and policies within the Defence Medical Services.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
Requirements
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Physiotherapist.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Physiotherapy or a related field.
  • Experience in providing specialist physiotherapy services to patients with complex physical conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
