Installation Manager Job Description

Our Client is seeking an experienced Installation Manager to join their growing operations team based at their Head office in Farnborough, Hampshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Labour Management: Manage and schedule labour (in-house and sub-contracted) for all Pre-builds, Installations, and Dismantles.
  2. Installation Team Management: Manage the Installation Techs, ensuring they are working as efficiently as possible.
  3. Fleet Management: Manage a fleet of vehicles, including liaising with the Operations Administrator to arrange additional vehicle hire if required.
  4. Interdepartmental Liaison: Liaise with the Warehouse Manager, Production Manager, Project Managers, and Head of Operations to ensure all jobs move smoothly through the company.
  5. Project Support: Liaise with the Head of Projects to ensure Installation Techs have all the information from Projects required to fulfil their jobs to the highest standard.
  6. Customer Interaction: Occasionally liaise with customers directly during the pre-build sign-off stage and the installation process.
  7. Health and Safety: Ensure that all Install Techs are complying with company Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Implement a continuous improvement culture within existing installation service levels, including conducting regular 1-2-1s, appraisals, and reviews of KPIs.
