Installation Manager Job Description

Our Client is seeking an experienced Installation Manager to join their growing operations team based at their Head office in Farnborough, Hampshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and schedule labour (in-house and sub-contracted) for all Pre-builds, Installations, and Dismantles.
  2. Oversee the Installation Techs, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively.
  3. Manage a fleet of vehicles, including coordinating with the Operations Administrator to arrange additional vehicle hire if required.
  4. Liaise with the Warehouse Manager, Production Manager, Project Managers, and Head of Operations to ensure all jobs progress smoothly through the company.
  5. Collaborate with the Head of Projects to ensure Installation Techs have all necessary information from Projects to complete their jobs to the highest standard.
  6. Occasionally communicate with customers directly during the pre-build sign-off stage and the installation process.
  7. Ensure that all Install Techs comply with company Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  8. Implement a continuous improvement culture within existing installation service levels, including conducting regular 1-2-1s, appraisals, and reviews of KPIs.
  9. Perform other tasks or projects as required.
