We are seeking a dedicated SEN teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a SEN teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging and effective lessons tailored to the needs of your students.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent and a strong understanding of the national curriculum. Experience working in mainstream or SEN/SEMH settings is desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for students with special educational needs.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of all students, including those with SEN/SEMH.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student development.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and parents to support student development.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance teaching skills.
