We are seeking a skilled and experienced Agency Chemotherapy Nurse to join our team at Leaders In Care Recruitment Ltd. As an Agency Chemotherapy Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to oncology patients in their own homes, working on a temporary contract with our agency.
Job Summary:This is a community-based role covering the SE London area, working 4 or 5 days per week with a highly competitive hourly rate. The role will involve seeing patients for bloods, toxicity assessments, IV chemotherapy, oral chemotherapy, pump disconnections, line care, IM/SC injections, and more.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide oncology patients with a range of treatments in their own homes
- Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality care to patients
- Conduct bloods, toxicity assessments, and other medical procedures
- Administer IV and oral chemotherapy, as well as other treatments
- Perform pump disconnections, line care, and other medical procedures
- Active NMC Pin - Registered RGN
- Experience in Oncology, Haematology, or Chemotherapy is essential
- Cannulation & Venepuncture experience
- Driving Licence
- SACT Passport, or equivalent qualification
- Competitive hourly rate of £43 - £48 per hour (based on experience)
- Mileage expenses
- Monday to Friday role
- No bank holiday working
