Agency Chemotherapy Nurse Opportunity

Leaders in Care is seeking a skilled Agency Chemotherapy Nurse to join our team on a temporary contract. As an Agency Chemotherapy Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to oncology patients in their own homes, working closely with our agency to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver chemotherapy treatments to patients in their homes, including bloods, toxicity assessments, IV chemotherapy, oral chemotherapy, pump disconnections, line care, and IM/SC injections.
  • Work collaboratively with our agency to ensure seamless patient care and timely treatment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
Requirements:
  • Active NMC Pin - Registered RGN
  • Experience in Oncology, Haematology, or Chemotherapy is essential
  • Cannulation & Venepuncture experience
  • Driving Licence
  • SACT Passport, or equivalent qualification
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate of £43 - £48 per hour (based on experience)
  • Mileage expenses
  • Monday to Friday role - approx. 8 hrs per day - working 4 or 5 days per week
  • No bank holiday working
