Teaching Personnel is a leading education recruitment agency that supports schools across the UK in finding exceptional teaching staff. As an Academic Tutor, you will be part of a vibrant and diverse community of learners at a school in North Bristol (BS7). The role offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students and contribute to their academic success.
The ideal candidate will have experience planning and delivering high-quality Science lessons at KS3 & 4 level. You will be a well-qualified specialist, holding QTS and a relevant undergraduate degree, with the ability to teach across both key stages. Your passion for inspiring young minds and commitment to achieving excellent results will be essential in this role.
The salary for this position is approximately £30,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience. This figure is estimated based on national averages for similar roles in the UK.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and talented team at one of our partner schools. As an Academic Tutor, you will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
- Maintaining high standards of teaching and learning, with a focus on student progress and achievement.
- Monitoring and reporting on student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A recognised teaching qualification (QTS) and a relevant undergraduate degree.
- Experience of teaching Science at KS3 & 4 level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other stakeholders.
