Develop Your Expertise in Clinical Oral Surgery

We are seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join our team as an NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer in Oral Surgery or Post-CCT Orthodontics at Bristol Dental School. This full-time clinical academic training post offers the opportunity to gain extensive experience in services within an NHS organisation, with primary clinical training primarily at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust.

The clinical training programme will follow the curriculum recommended by the SAC in Oral Surgery or Post-CCT orthodontics, designed to meet the requirements of the General Dental Council leading to a certificate of completion of specialist training. The post will provide exposure to a wide range of services, integral to the appropriate Managed Clinical Network. Upon completion, the expected outcome is preparation for a successful outcome in the specialty membership examination (for Oral Surgery) and award of a CCST in Oral Surgery or completion of post-CCCT training in orthodontics, making you eligible to apply for an NHS consultant post.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, offering a competitive package that includes a comprehensive benefits structure.
