Teaching Assistant - SEN

We are working with a client school in Weymouth, seeking Teaching Assistants to join their team. The school is an SEN School catering for pupils from Early Years/EYFS through to College.

Your role will involve working within the class to support the class teacher with their lessons. You will be working alongside a team of support staff in class and may also be required to work on a 1-1 basis.

This is a flexible working role, starting ASAP. Whether you are looking to work 1 or 5 days a week, we will be able to help you.

To be successful in this role you should:

  • Have personal, professional or voluntary experience working with individuals that have special needs or mental health difficulties
  • Be resilient and confident working with challenging behaviour
  • Be calm, empathetic and adaptable
  • Have excellent written and verbal English skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
