Radiology Consultant with Expertise in Non-Vascular Intervention

We are seeking a Consultant Radiologist with a special interest in non-vascular interventional radiology to join our team.
The successful candidate will be based in the Clyde Sector and will be expected to provide 2 sessions a week at Inverclyde Royal Hospital, Greenock.
The role involves contributing to the general work of the department, particularly the acute service, and being proficient in all forms of general diagnostic imaging.
An interest in non-vascular interventional radiology is essential, with a focus on venous interventions and vascular access procedures.
The successful candidate will participate in relevant multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs) and will be encouraged to contribute to service development, quality improvement, appraisal, and revalidation.
The role also involves supervising and reporting CT and MR examinations, ultrasound, and plain film reporting, as well as on-call duties.
There is an essential requirement to be proficient in emergency and trauma radiology for emergency daytime and on-call purposes.
The successful candidate will participate in the diagnostic out-of-hours system on a sector basis and will be expected to work a maximum of 8 weekends per annum.
The role is advertised as a full-time position, but part-time applications will be considered.
