Job Summary:We are seeking a Consultant Radiologist with a strong interest in non-vascular interventional radiology to join our team. The successful candidate will be based in the Clyde Sector and will be expected to provide 2 sessions a week at Inverclyde Royal Hospital, Greenock.
Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to the general work of the department, particularly the acute service
- Be proficient in all forms of general diagnostic imaging
- Develop and maintain expertise in non-vascular interventional radiology
- Participate in relevant multidisciplinary teams (MDTs)
- Supervise and report on CT and MR examinations, ultrasound, and plain film reporting
- Participate in the diagnostic out-of-hours system on a sector basis
- Contribute to teaching, training, and audit activities
- Involve in service development, quality improvement, appraisal, and revalidation
- Proficiency in emergency and trauma radiology for emergency daytime and on-call purposes
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with colleagues to ensure high-quality services
- Flexibility to adapt to changing job plans and service needs
