An exciting opportunity has arisen at Vetisco in Chelmsford for a friendly and enthusiastic receptionist to provide exceptional service to clients and their pets.

Job Description
  • Focus on providing an exceptional service to our clients and the best possible care to their pets - providing a vital link between clients and the clinical team.
  • Build strong relationships with our clients, their pets and the practice team will be critical to your success.

Key responsibilities include coordinating the smooth running of the day-to-day routines of the practice, managing payments and appointment bookings using our online system. This is a part-time role working between 20 to 25 hours per week, mainly working afternoon and evening shifts. One full weekend in every four weeks will be required, lieu days will be provided for each weekend worked.

Estimated salary: £8-10 per hour based on national minimum wage for 20-25 hours a week.

Required Attributes
  1. To be the friendly and welcoming face for the client and their pets when they arrive at the practice.
  2. To bring enthusiasm and drive to the role with a passion for excellent client service and a love of pets.
  3. To confidently and sensitively deal with a variety of situations, from comforting a client who has had some bad news about their pet to sharing in the joy of a puppy's first visit to the vet.
