Education Specialist in Clinical Psychology Training

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Education Specialist in Clinical Psychology Training to join our team at the University of Exeter. The successful candidate will have a postgraduate doctorate in Clinical Psychology or its equivalent, as accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), and eligibility for Chartered Clinical Psychology registration.

This is a part-time position (0.4 FTE) available immediately on a fixed-term contract until 31 October 2025, providing maternity cover. The role offers hybrid working arrangements, with some time spent on campus and some from home. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and producing teaching materials across various strands, working collaboratively with external lecturers and curriculum convenors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and produce teaching materials for clinical psychology training
  • Collaborate with external lecturers and curriculum convenors
  • Ensure the academic curriculum of the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology is delivered effectively
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate doctorate in Clinical Psychology or its equivalent, as accredited by the BPS
  • Eligibility for Chartered Clinical Psychology registration
  • Depth or breadth of specialist knowledge and experience in working with issues of equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in clinical psychology training
