Ecology Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director to enhance our capacity to win and deliver major ecology projects. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and experienced ecology team, working closely with project managers, support staff, and field ecologists to tender for and deliver large-scale ecology projects.
Key Responsibilities
- As an Associate Director, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing major projects from commencement to completion and close-out, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- You will also be responsible for staff, a geographical area, or specialist discipline, providing leadership and guidance to team members.
- Excellent client relationships are essential to ensure future major tender opportunities come into the business, and you will be expected to coordinate some of the largest RSK Biocensus tenders and projects.
- You may also be Project Director on a diverse range of smaller projects as required, providing strategic direction and oversight.
- You will be expected to take on additional responsibilities within the RSK Ecology business, demonstrating excellent communication skills with team members, peers, and senior management, and developing business strategies to drive growth and success.
Person Specification
- A degree in a relevant discipline, such as ecology, environmental science, or a related field.
- Specific relevant experience since graduating, with a strong track record of delivering successful projects and building strong client relationships.
- A full driving licence and species-specific survey and mitigation licences are advantageous.
- Full membership of The Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) and Chartered ecologist (CEcol) or Chartered environmentalist (CEnv) are advantageous.
