About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Respiratory Medicine to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the diagnosis and management of respiratory diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership in the management of respiratory patients, including those with complex and chronic conditions.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols for respiratory care.
  • Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and multi-professional trainees in respiratory medicine.
  • Participate in departmental audit and clinical governance activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of educational programs for medical and non-medical staff in respiratory medicine.
  • Collaborate with other consultants and healthcare professionals to develop and implement service improvement initiatives.
