Job Title: Assistant Store Manager - Luxury Retail

Job Summary:

DB Charles Recruitment is working closely with a leading Oxfordshire retailer to hire an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join their team. As a key member of the store management team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing sales floor operations, and leading a team of sales assistants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Aiding the Store Manager: Assist the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring seamless operations and excellent customer service.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Sales Floor Operations: Manage sales floor operations, including visual merchandising, stock management, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of sales assistants, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure they meet their sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Operational Duties: Assist with operational duties, including stock taking, inventory management, and maintaining accurate records.

Requirements:

  • Retail Experience: A strong retail background as an Assistant Store Manager, Supervisor, or Team Leader, preferably in luxury or 1-2-1 sales.
  • Operational Skills: Excellent operational skills, including stock management, inventory control, and visual merchandising.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Team Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of sales assistants.
  • Availability: Ability to commit to Saturday working and working 5 out of 7 days.

What We Offer:

  • Salary: A competitive salary dependent on experience, between £27,000 to £30,000 per annum.
