About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and setting appointments for our project sales team. Your primary focus will be on selling a high-quality manufacturer's range of timber windows, joinery products, doors, and architectural ironmongery to contractors, small bespoke developers, architects, specifiers, and bespoke housebuilders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospecting sales opportunities and qualifying relevant leads
  • Generating new business and setting appointments for the project sales team
  • Dealing with incoming enquiries via telephone or email
  • Meeting KPIs, including the number of outbound calls, project enquiries secured, and appointments booked (targeted at 10 per week)
Requirements:
  • Must have outbound telephone sales experience, ideally within a telesales, SDR, or appointment setting position
  • Ideal experience selling doors, timber/joinery products, or architectural ironmongery, although this is not essential
  • Determined, resilient, and motivated individual with the ability to hit the ground running
  • Computer literate
