About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join us on this prestigious project. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects, contributing to the expansion and modernisation of a key international gateway.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the Early Contractor involvement phase of the project
  • Prepare and analyse project budgets, forecasts, and reports
  • Lead procurement processes, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Manage contractual risks, providing advice to the project team
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and the project team to ensure financial objectives are met
  • Prepare and negotiate valuations, final accounts, and variations
Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
  • Extensive experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor role, ideally within large civil engineering or infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial management best practices
  • Proficiency in relevant software packages
